Pretty strange...

!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! reminded me that I saw a (sort of) unicorn today, and someone had tried to kill it. I was in traffic and saw an SC430, black, looked decent shape, still had a little sticker residue on the tire tread... Thought, hey, kinda neat. As I got closer I realized that it had a few spots on the drivers side, one near the door handle and the other further down and back. As I got closer I realized they were holes, bullet holes! Then I noticed a third one, and that one had gone right through were the window trim and the door meet! Someone had a bad, bad day. The one by the window looked like it had been fired pretty much straight down, the one by the handle looked like a 30-45 degree angle, and the one lower and further back was about 80 degrees off upright. I think someone was standing next to the car, and things got to needing shootin, first one straight in and the other two (at least) as the car drove away. The driver's side tire was also the only one that looked new. The all seemed to coming from right next to the car as well, so they had to penetrate at a pretty oblique angle. The holes looked pretty good size, so I was thinking something with a big heavy bullet, so .44, maybe .50 caliber. So, my opinion was drug deal gone south. I wonder if the driver lived through it? The car had Georgia plates on it, and what looked like greasepaint on the windshield, so I am assuming that it was probably bought on auction for a quick flip. I also saw a blue XLR! Luckily no one had tried to kill that one as far as I could tell.

Ouch! I'd hope they lived it.

I'd never like to own a car that somebody got shot in. I'd feel bad.
